Derek Mayfield – Master Barber & Co-Owner Derek Mayfield is a second-generation barber with over a decade of experience perfecting the art of grooming. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the hair industry, Derek developed a passion for barbering at a young age. His dedication to his craft has earned him the title of Master Barber, specializing in custom-tailored haircuts that seamlessly blend traditional techniques with modern styles. As the creative force and owner of The Shave Shack, Derek is committed to providing an unparalleled grooming experience for every client who walks through the door.
Chelsey Mayfield – Operations Manager & Co-Owner Chelsey Mayfield is a second-generation stylist and the powerhouse behind the day-to-day operations of The Shave Shack. Having been immersed in the hair industry since childhood, Chelsey combines her knowledge of the business with an eye for detail to ensure that everything runs smoothly. As co-owner, she is the brains behind the operation, managing logistics, customer relationships, and everything in between. Her leadership and dedication to excellence are the driving forces that keep The Shave Shack at the forefront of the industry. Aislin Young
Aislin is a dedicated barber who originally hails from Clarksville, Tennessee. With over 10 years of experience in the hair industry and a focus on barbering since 2019, Avalon brings a wealth of expertise and a passion to our team. Known for her attention to detail and her commitment to providing an all star experience, Aislin specializes in bald fades and razor detailing. Her goal is to deliver sharp, clean, and a tailored looks that leave every client feeling their absolute best.
Brennan Reese
Brennan is originally from Spring Creek, Nevada, Brennan joined the Army in 2018 and has proudly called the Clarksville area home ever since. Brennan's journey into barbering has been an eye opening experience in the best way possible, allowing him to explore and perfect his craft. He's passionate about mastering classical barber techniques, including straight razor shaves and shear work, and strives to grow his skills to provide the highest level of service to every client who sits in his chair.
Gabriel Leccese
Growing up in a military family, Gabe found his home in Clarksville and his passion for barbering after the pandemic. In 2021, he left New York to pursue his barbering license in Tennessee, and he’s been dedicated to perfecting his craft ever since.
With a sharp eye for detail and a love for the trade, Gabe specializes in everything from precise beard sculpting to modern fades and even the perfect mullet. His ability to connect with clients, share a good laugh, and continuously refine his techniques makes him a valuable addition to our team.
Jatieka Bailey
Born and raised in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, JB comes from a close-knit, supportive family that’s always been her foundation.
After earning her CDL and spending a few years traveling, JB realized her true calling wasn’t on the road—it was in the barber’s chair. The moment she picked up her first pair of clippers, something clicked. She discovered a sense of purpose, creativity, and power in the craft of barbering that changed everything.
JB graduated from barber school in August 2022 and officially became licensed in 2023. Since then, she’s been fully committed to perfecting her skills and delivering not just haircuts—but confidence and connection.
She wakes up each day excited to grow, challenge herself, and become better than she was the day before. For JB, barbering isn’t just a job—it’s a passion and a lifestyle
Devin Dauenbaugh
Hailing from Iowa, Devin brings a sharp eye and steady hand to every cut. Since earning her license in April 2022, she’s been delivering clean, precise styles that keep clients looking their best.
Now based in Tennessee to support her sister in the Army and her child. Devin has quickly become known for her high fades—crafted with care and attention to detail.
